Hello, new friends! I am so excited to begin this journey as a blogger and share my classroom adventures with you.
I have been teaching ever since I could remember. I am currently teaching 2nd grade in Georgia and have also taught 1st grade, kindergarten, and pre-k. I have a degree from Shorter University. My students are my passion and I love nothing more than making my classroom a safe, fun, and engaging place to be. I want my students to honestly know how special they are. Life is too short to do anything halfway. So, I push myself to be a better teacher each and every day... not for myself, but for those little ones who I am lucky to call my students.
I am a newlywed to the love of my life {Ryan} and have a son {Tucker} and stepson {Kaden}. I am the only girl in our household but couldn't imagine my life any other way. Those boys spoil me to death and I get the privilege of watching them grow into little men. Aren't they so handsome?!
